Wedding homebrew consumption tally

If you’ve been keeping track, I brewed a whole lot of beer for my wedding this past Saturday. With 200+ guests coming, there had to be a lot to drink! I received tons compliments on the homebrew — and possibly converted a few folks to homebrewers — so thank you to everyone who tried it and loved it.

The final tally:
58 bottles of Dubbel (12 oz.)
13 bottles of Dubbel (22 oz.)
24 bottles of Grand Cru (12 oz.)
18 bottles of Kolsch (12 oz.)
7 bottles of cider (22 oz.)
1 gallon of mead

Good work, party people! That was all in addition to 7 cases of wine, 60 bottles of craft beer, and 7 gallons of kegged beer.

The good news is that nobody was scary drunk and everyone got home safely (or camped with us). Hooray for weddings!

Shhh, don’t tell but I stole a bottle of the 22oz Dubbel for home, it was so good.

Congratulations! I’ve only recently found your blog, and recently started homebrewing. I really enjoyed reading about your experiences. It inspired me!

Hope you have many healthy, happy years togther!
